THATTA (Japan) announce NZ tour

thatta have already shared the stage with NZ’ers Die! Die! Die!, Decortica and Tiddabades when they toured in thatta’s homeland of Japan. Now thatta (meaning “random” and “mind expanding”) are heading from their home turf is right in the middle of the deepest entrails of the infamous yakuza infested red light district of Kabukicho in Tokyo to play 4 NZ dates in March.

thatta are Hiroki Oda: vocals/ keys, Hiroshi Morishima: rhythm guitar/synth, Toshitsugu Tanaka: lead guitar/synth, Yujiro Chikayama: bass and Shun-Yeah!! Nakaso: drums ; they are a five piece synth-rock group who cite influences from The Stone Roses to The Pixies and Sonic Youth.
